New to Self-Publishing

A&A Printing welcomes you to and thanks you for stopping by. We understand that authors have many questions and self-publishing can be difficult. For over 30 years we have been helping authors realizing their book dreams and helping to make publishing easier for them. You probably have typed in "self publishing" and been over-whelmed by the number of companies that pop up in your search. The question becomes who can I trust with my book and will somebody be able to answer my questions? Most of these companies in the top search rankings are nothing more than" vanity presses" with unlimited marketing budgets and false promises. Their "one size fits all" policy treats every author the same and uses the same false promise system to lure you in. Expensive packages that promise big sales and success leave authors wondering what happened.

What happened is that the packaging is more substantial than the results. Vanity presses are like a Christmas present gone wrong. They are like one of those huge boxes with nice wrapping that contain nothing more than smaller boxes inside. The more you unwrap each smaller box with nothing inside, the worse you feel. This is exactly how thousands of authors feel after their experience with these places. They were promised big things and everything seemed perfect. They were told their books would sell on Amazon and huge success was right around the corner. Unfortunately what gets left out of the sales pitch is the fact that books sold on Amazon have a large percentage taken out for each sale and people still need to find your book. Think about it, when you go to Amazon you are looking for a specific book to buy and not browsing for the latest titles. How will anybody find your book if they aren't looking for it?

Many self-publishing companies these days are also nothing more than brokers with fancy websites. This means that they don't even have their own equipment and farm out the work to other places. Logistically this means that your cover is designed one place, then is printed somewhere else, and then shipped to another place to be bound. These experts are nothing more than business men with contacts. While this still may work, you are depending on different places to come through for you on your book instead of trusting one reputable place for everything. A&A Printing has been printing books for over 30 years and produces everything here under one roof.

So how are you any different and why should I trust your company then? Great question and no worries, the difference is easy. Our phone number is right there on the top of our website and we are here to answer all of your questions, whether you print your book with us or not. While that seems basic to me and authors love our personal customer service, this is not the way of the world. Some companies actually don't allow phone conversations and communicate only by email. I heard one place does allow a phone consultation, but only if you choose their premium, most expensive book package. The point is we know you have questions and need guidance, and that is what we are here to do. For over 30 years we have offered great customer service as well as award winning book printing and publishing services. Nobody beats our customer service, quality, turn around time, or publishing services. To learn more or to have your questions answered, feel free to call us at 813-886-0065. Thank you very much for your time and we look forward to hearing from you.
