Calculating a Spine

If you are printing with 20# Paper:
Take the number of pages (sides) ÷ 2 x .004 = ____ (spine)

If you are printing with 60# Paper:
Take the number of pages (sides) ÷ 2 x .005 = ____ (spine)

Example:

You would calculate the spine of a 200-page book on 60# paper at .5" or 1/2"
( 200 ÷ 2 x .005 = .5 )
