Cover Layout and Design

Bleeds - If cover will have images that will run off any edges of the book it will require an additional 1/8" minimum to be added to each side (extending any images or color you want to bleed off the page). Click here for more detailed information on bleeds.

Back and Front Cover Requirements - Make sure that all text on back and front cover are 1/2" from all edges. (Exception would be images that are intended to bleed off the edge of the cover).

Spine Requirements - Make sure that all text and images on spine are 1/8" from both edges of spine. Click here for instructions on how to calculate spine.

PDF Files are preferred for cover files.
